Very interesting installation of Tertu timber sound absorbing screens carried out in Cyprus, on the site of the Supreme Court in Nicosia.
The challenge was to reduce the noise pollution caused by an industrial compressor while improving the aesthetic aspect of the site.
In order to achieve the goal, the acoustic panels have been positioned to encircle the area to be protected – the absorbent side of the panels facing the inside for maximising the mitigation. In addition, an access door has been also specifically designed by Tertu in order to fit perfectly with the panels.
